Description U.S. carbine box for Sharps Carbine: black leather with double flap and impliment pouch; inner flap stamped "H. A. DINGEE / N-YORK"; closure tab sewn to outer flap; wooden insert drilled for 20 cartridges, 4 Sharps cartridges remain; horizontal and verticle loops on back, vertical loops secured with copper rivets; roller buckles (missing) sewn to bottom of box.
