Provenance The mortise pin came from the ruins of the old Brice House at Brice's Cross Roads near Tupelo, Mississippi on June 9, 1921. Lt. Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest fought one of his most brilliant battles here during the war (June 10, 1864).
