(.301a) This is a blue and gold thread rectangle with two blue bars at each end, a light green background. Believed to be U.S. Captain's. It is in good condition.

Provenance These were the shoulder boards of Major Henry Carter Harrison of Cumberland Co., Virginia, member of the 11th Virginia Regiment. Harrison was mortally wounded at Blacksburn's Ford, on July 18, 1861, and died on July 19.
