|Description||The pipe consists of a short wooden stem attached to a heavily charred corncob bowl. A silver plate attached to the bowl reads, "This pipe was used as a gavel in President Davis' room at the Confederate Home-Beauvoir, Mississippi, Nov. 15, 1906. Presented by Mrs. Mollie R. Magill Rosenberg, June 5, 1907." With hinged two-part brown leather case (.219a), with a red and white ribbon liner.|
