Description The badge is a length of white silk ribbon with multi-color printing and a fishtail end. A safety pin is sewn to the top Crossed flags are printed in red and blue in the center of the flag. An Army of Northern Virginia pattern flag is on the left, and a Virginia State flag is on the right. The Virginia State Seal is printed in blue below the flags. "SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS" is printed above the image. "R. E. LEE / CAMP No. 1 / C. V. / RICHMOND, VA." is printed in gold above the flags. "RICHMOND, VA MAY 30-JUNE 3, 1907" is printed in gold below the seal. The bottom of the ribbon has gold painted-on fringe. "WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO., / NEWARK, N. J." is marked on the back of the ribbon.

Provenance This badge was made for a veteran member of the R. E. Lee Camp, No. 1, Confederate Veterans, of Richmond, Virginia to wear to the 17th Annual Reunion of the UCV, held in Richmond, Virginia on May 30 through June 3, 1907.
