Description Pocket watch: Open-face chronograph pocket watch. Gold case decorated with a cityscape and floral sprays. It is engraved, "Geo. W. Rains/US Army" and marked, "Brothers Vuille/#26445/Anchor Escapement/Independent Seconds/21 jewels/Parachute & Compensation". The dial is size 18 and gold with Roman numerals, and three inset dials. It has a seconds bit and sweep second hand. The mechanism is key wind and set from the back, with 21 jewel. It has two main springs and two trains; one escapement controlling both hour and minute dials. Stem extends from body at numeral 12 position. Brown storage box (b).
