|Description||Silver-plated trophy. Elongated, slightly ovular cup shape with two handles on either side of cup, and lipped rim. Stands on neck attached to circular base. On the front there is a panel of engraving flanked by two engraved columns that reach 7" from the top and are topped with engraved angels. There is a 1.75" band of engraving around the circumference of the trophy. On the back there is a panel of engraving flanked with the same columns as the front. Around the base is a 0.25" band of engraving. Inscribed on the front: "IN MEMORY OF / THOS. D. OSBORNE / CO A, 6TH KENTUCKY INF. / 'ORPHAN BRIGADE' " and various women's names and dates/ Engraved on the base "WALLACE BROS AND CO. / WALLINGFORD, CONN. / 302-15"|
