Miniature bed with bedclothes; part of eight-piece set of minaiture furniture with designs cut into them, made of lightweight wood (cigar boxes).
Bed has a rectangular shape with straight legs. Footboard has rounded top arch with triangular cut-out below the apex of the arch. The cut-out has extended side points and rounded arched top. The sides are straight with shoulders next to the headboard. The headboard is straight with two rectangular posts and rounded top arch. Below the apex of the arch are two triangular cut-outs with slightly rounded bases and main points pointed at each other vertically. Two connected ellipses are cut-out between the triangles horizontally. The base is composed of seven slats, each of which sit into grooves cut into the siderails.
Has a modern pillow to function as a mattress. Pillow is in a ecru cotton sleeve, trimmed with cotton tatted lace. On either side of the opening is a narrow satin ribbon. The sleeve is larger than the pillow, so the top is folded over.
