Description Pair (one of two) brass spurs with half-round heel band fully mounted with diamond pattern; shallow, stepped swan neck with 30 point rowel; slots in terminal ends of heel bands for leather strap (missing). Screw rowel pin.

Identical to standard Tiffany style spur, with notches in the top of the neck, with exception of stippling on arms and some decoration on the head. The Tiffany stamping is the same as on the CS 10 and it is behind the neck.

Provenance A group of ladies from Baltimore, Maryland gave this pair of spurs to (at the time) Maj. Gen. Thomas J. Jackson.

Based upon Jackson's rank as Major General, these spurs must have been presented to him between November 1861 and autumn 1862.
