Description Epaulet: One of a pair of epaulets (.13.876a-b) consisting of brass crescents with gold thread fringe on shoulder boards. The boards have yellow silk liners. The pair of epaulettes are attached to a kidney-shaped paper box (.876c) with a black cover. The box has a label which reads, "Canfield & Company."
