Description Uniform Frock coat: double breasted, 8 buttons in each row, set in pairs, cadet gray wool broadcloth, buff wool broadcloth facings and piping, brown twilled wool and silk lining in body, white silk linings in sleeves; embroidered gold general's collar insignia, gold sleeve braid, Federal staff buttons with backmarks: "HORSTMAN BROTHERS & CO,/NEW YORK."
