Description Box containing 13 bullets and 3 shell fragments. One bullet has sticker, "5". Six of the 13 bullets are whole, the remaining 7 have been deformed from impact. One bullet is round; the non-deformed are pointed. One shell fragment appears to be half of a shell; another is small and gray; the third is dark brown/gray and rounded.

Provenance "Some bullets and two pieces of shell picked up on Kenesaw Mt., Missouri [sic], in 1900 by David Meriwether. One bullet was cut from a tree."

"Things picked up on Kenesaw Mt. in 1900 by my father David Meriwether. One bullet was cut by him out of a tree."

However, it is believed the donor was referencing Kenesaw Mountain in Georgia.
