Description Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver - .31 cal., 5-shot round cylinder, 5" octagonal barrel, attached loading lever. Brass pin front sight, rear sight through v-notch in hammer. Casehardened frame, hammer, and loading lever; remainder blued. One piece walnut grip, Silver-plated brass small triggerguard, strap, and backstrap - trigger spring broken. Plating +/- 10% worn. Bluing/Mottling +/- 10% worn. Scene depicting a stagecoach hold-up is roll engraved on the cylinder - (highly visible). Scratched - Backstrap at butt: Lt A.
