Description Pattern: Postwar Florida State flag; wool, silk. White field with oval disk with painted Florida State seal in center. Native American figure on land in foreground to left; in background on right is a riverboat on water; mountains and a palmetto tree near the center.

Border: 2 inch gold metallic fringe on three sides; 1 1/4 inch white ribbon on hoist edge with ties.

Provenance Postwar Florida State flag, made for the Florida Room of the Museum circa 1896. Only known surviving example of this pattern of Florida state flag, which was used from 1868-1900.
