The gold square badge has a swag motif edging studded with simulated gemstones. The center shows a hand holding a heart encircled by a wreath upon which is written, "Les Soeurs Fideles." The cuff of the hand has a three-beaded ornament. "Jefferson Davis - From the Philomathean Society, W. F. College 1870" is engraved on the reverse side of the badge. A simple catch clasp is on the reverse of the badge.
