|Provenance||Ivory paper knife owned by Major General J.E.B. Stuart and carried by him in his field desk during the CIvil War. After his death it was carefully preserved and used by Major Henry B. McClellan, at one time AAG on Stuart's staff, until it was broken. He had it mended with the silver plate.|
