|Description||The medal (217a) comes in a black leatherette case with a brass clip closure and lined with black velvet; the center section has a cut-out to hold the medal. The case did have an attached paper tag with the accession number, but the tag is no longer attached. A paper label is adhered to the inside cover of the case and has the following printed in black, "The / Mary De Renne / Confederate Collection."|
