Description Sugar bowl: Staffordshire stoneware sugar bowl with lid (lid 2007.1.4b) Base of the sugar bowl has a white base with gold outline, navy blue on the upper half with gold flower and leaf design; lid has handle at the top and is navy blue with white gold outline and flower design "9827" written on the bottom.

Provenance Owned by Lewis Crenshaw. Believed used by him in the 1850s in the home that would become known as the White House of the Confederacy; and that he took these with him when he moved out in 1861.
