Description Presentation grade officer's artillery saber; curved single edged blade, heavily etched with floral sprays, military trophies, military cannon, "CS" in old English letters, "Memphis / Novelty / Works" on obverse, " Leech / and / Rigdon"; remains of leather cushion, gilded brass hilt, two branches and knuckle bow flow from ovoid grip into pommel, pommel stamped "10";. branches decorated with floral sprays at distal ends, guard decorated with geometric designs and scroll work, "CS" within oval cast inside guard near grip; wooden grip covered in leather, and double twist wire wrap. Steel scabbard (.5a) with brass mounts and inscription plaque; scabbard stamped "10" near throat.
