Description One of a pair of stockings, women's. Made of white cotton; knit with open work at cuff. "Candlelight" or "Candleflame" lace pattern 9.5 inches down from cuff and extending to toe. Solid sole, heel and toe. Toe is figure eight.

Her mother raised the cotton in her garden then picked it from the ______ finger picked the seed I paid her $3.00 for them at the close of the war - I contribute them to the Museum in memory of my Bro.
