Description Uniform Frock coat: double breasted, with seven button in each row, cadet gray wool cloth with buff (faded from sky blue) wool facings and piping, dark green wool and silk lining in body, white cotton sheeting lining in sleeves, gold embroidered sequined colonel's collar insignia, gold sleeve braid, and Federal staff buttons with backmarks: "EXTRA / QUALITY," "SUPERIOR QUALITY," AND "HORSTMANN / NEW YORK."
