Presented to the unit by the Ladies of Virginia in 1861 and carried until the battle of Williamsburg, Virginia, May 1862, when it was replaced by government-issue regimental flags, and was sent home by Col. Robert C. Allen for safekeeping. It was later used for veterans' reunions.
