Event Battle of Williamsburg
Provenance Flag of the 28th Virginia Infantry, Co. B, "Blue Ridge Rifles". Presented to the unit by the Ladies of Virginia in 1861 and carried until the battle of Williamsburg, Virginia, May 1862, when it was replaced by government-issue regimental flags, and was sent home by Col. Robert C. Allen for safekeeping. It was later used for veterans' reunions.
