Description Confederate Foot Officer's sword based on Model 1850 U. S. Foot Officer's Sword; slightly curved blade with single stopped fuller, ricasso stamped "T.G.Co., N.O."; glided brass hilt with guard pieced by floral sprays, knuckle bow pierced for sword knot near pommel which is decorated on the forward edge with floral sprays; leather grip wrapped with brass wire. Brass scabbard (.53b).
