Description Two identical silver ornamental pins in the shape of a magnolia blossom bud pinned to the inside of a red-brown leather covered case lined with green satin. Embossed in gold on the inside cover: "E.R. Lawshe Atlanta, Ga". Three pieces (two pins, one box).

Provenance Henry Maury owned this two silver magnolia pins at the beginning of the war. He served in the "Magnolia Cadets", which was one of the companies which seized Fort Morgan when Alabama withdrew from the Union. It was commanded by Col. W. H. R. Dawson and formed a part of the 4th Alabama Regiment, CSA. These pins belonged to Harry Maury when member (officer) of this company.
