Description The medal is a bronze medallion pendant suspended from a green and white striped ribbon. "Aztec Club / Mexico / October A.D. 1847" is inscribed on the front. "October 13, 1847 / October 13, 1897 with Aztec temple" is inscribed on the back. "Gen. George Washington Rains" is inscribed on the side. This medal is associated with another medal (0985.3.133) and a lapel pin (0985.3.134).
