The ticket is printed as a broadside. The old Crandall number is CR-2874. 6 copies: Copy 1 > Glued at the top to cardstock. Has a solid black line border. Bottom portion torn away - names at bottom missing. Copy 2: Glued to another sheet of paper. Marks on reverse: "C-2874" and "given by B. H. Teague." Copy 3: Glued to a somewhat larger piece of paper. Copy 4: Tears at the bottom repaired by 2 strips of tape. Marks on reverse > "Metal Case 3 E 5" and "C-2874." Copy 5: Glued to a larger piece of cardstock. Written at top of cardstock, "Ballot used in Virginia in the election of the President of the Southern Confederacy, 1861." Written at the bottom of the cardstock, "Presented by Ashton Starke, Richmond, Va." Copy 6: Has an old piece of cellophane tape attached at the top. Bottom portion of ticket is glued to a small sheet of lined note paper. A note written at the bottom of the note paper reads, "one of the original Electoral tickets. / For President / & / For Vice President / of Confederate States / Loaned by / Mrs. N. V. Randolph."|
