Cavalry Saber: single-edged, curved blade with rounded back and rudimentary false edge and two fullers; reverse ricasso stamped "Ames Mfg Co / Chicopee / Mass", leather cushion; brass hilt with a knuckle bow and two branches flowing from an oval guard and terminating at the pommel; wood grip covered in leather, brass wire wrap missing. No scabbard.

Officer's Cavalry Saber: single-edged, curved blade with rounded back and rudimentary false edge and two fullers; etched American eagle and "US" with gilt decoration, "Tiffany / & Co / New York", reverse ricasso stamped "Collins & Co / Hartford / Conn"; brass hilt with a knuckle bow and two branches flowing from an oval guard and terminating at the pommel, floral decorations at distal ends of branches; wood grip with remnants of shagreen covering and twisted brass wire. With metal scabbard (.103a).

Cavalry Saber: single-edged, curved blade with flat back and rudimentary false edge and two fullers; ricasso stamped "PDL" on reverse ricasso; brass hilt with a knuckle bow and two branches flowing from an oval guard and terminating at the pommel; wood grip covered in remains of leather and twisted brass wire. With metal scabbard (.104a).

Variant Confederate Foot Officer's Sword; remains of severely corroded ,single-edged blade; brass hilt with two branches merging with knuckle bow which flows from ovoid guard to pommel; grip missing; knuckle bow detached from pommel; no scabbard. Relic condition.

Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver - .31 cal., 6-shot round cylinder, 4" octagonal barrel, loading lever missing. Brass pin front sight, rear sight through v-notch in hammer. Casehardened frame, hammer, and loading lever; remainder blued. One piece walnut grip, Silver-plated brass large triggerguard, strap, and backstrap - repaired at front of triggerguard with copper washer, covering serial no. Plating +/- 100% worn. Bluing/Mottling +/- 100% worn, heavily pitted, heavily oxidized. Scene depicting a stagecoach hold-up is roll engraved on the cylinder - (indiscernable). Proof, Assembly Marks - Triggerguard, left shoulder: G. Stamped - Backstrap at butt: 178895 (all other identifying marks

Snaffle bit with leather bridle and reins attached. Rolled cheek pieces and reins; throat latch missing. Two buckles attached to each ring with rein attached to one and leather strap attached to the other. Round metal plate attached to leather strap with etched "x"'s around the inner circle.

Plated brass five-point star with inset jewel at each point (bottom two missing), gold eagle above old English "APAC" [probably "Army of the Potomac / Army of the Cumberland"] on stippled field in center; edges of arms engraved "Cedar Mt / Ringgold / Antietam / Dumfries / Mission Rdg / Lookout Mt / Wauhatchie / Gettysburg / Chancellorsville"; star supended from bar clasp (pin mising) engraved "Capt Moses Veale, A.C.M.".
