Uniform Frock coat: double breasted, 8 buttons in each row, steel gray wool broadcloth with light buff wool piping, no facings, dark green wool and silk lining in body, white cotton sheeting lining in sleeves; embroidered gold general's insignia backed in light buff twill, gold sleeve braid, Confederate staff buttons with CSA on shield, backmark: "RIVET'D & SOLDER'D" and "S. ISSACS CAMPBELL & CO./ST. JAMES. ST. LONDON"

Yellow silk mesh sash.

Pattern: Army of Tennessee battle flag; wool and cotton. Conserved. Stars: Four remaining (of original 13); white cotton, 5-pointed. Border: None. Attachment: Fabric ties; 3 remaining. Unit Designation: None. Battle Honors: Stenciled in black ink, very faded, "NEW HOPE.", "VICKSBURG.", "PERRYVILLE.", "JONESBORO.", "BAKERS CREEK."

The fork is silver-plated with a floral pattern and has four tines. It shows heavy surface wear. The reverse is marked, "John O. Meade & Son" and "St. John's."

Pattern: Army of Tennessee flag variant; red cotton field covered with red wool, white polished cotton cross. Red wool shield in center with unit designation and the white star in it. Gray oil-painted crossed cannons in lower field of flag. Battle honors and unit designation in white paint on reverse. Stars: Thirteen stars; 12 orange (red?) wool on cross arms, and 1 white silk in center; five-point stars. Sheet music used to shape stars visible through shattered silk portions. Border: 1/2 inch red (faded to brown) silk binding on 4 sides; 2 1/4 inches white silk fringe on 3 sides. Attachment: Believed sleeve. Mexican silver dollar. "*8R.G. 1860 P. F. 10Ds 20 Gs" on the obverse. An eagle and "REPUBLICA MEXICANA" are on the reverse. Engraved on eagle's chest is "C.S.A. / 1865"

GAVEL -

The gavel is made of varnished cherry, consisting of a turned handle fitted into a solid barrel shape. The barrel has an incised line at the join and a set of two carved bands near either end.

Uniform frock coat: double breasted, 7 buttons in each row, cadet gray kersey with buff wool twill piping, no facings, dark green wool and silk lining in body, off-white cotton osnaburg lining in sleeves; captain's collar insignia removed, no sleeve braid , Confederate staff buttons with backmark: "EXTRA RICH/TREBLE GILT," small brass civilian cuff buttons.
