Leather scabbard with silver mounts; top mount engraved: "The State of Georgia to Commodore Josiah Tattnall U.S.N. as a tribute to his gallantry in the Mexican War"; upper mount cast with Georgia state seal, reverse engraved: "Manufactured for Clark Racket & Co. by Baldwin & Co."; center mount engraved with steam and sailing ships, drag engraved with American eagle clutching shield and navy military trophies, drag terminates in cast acorn and floral sprays; suspension "rings" formed of cast dolphins with intertwined tails. The medal is a brass Greek cross with gilt. The center medallion is red enamel on one side and green on the other. "City of Mexico / Army of Occupation - Aztec Club U. S. Army 1847" is written on each side. The medal is suspended from a blue, green, and white striped ribbon. The medal is associated with a lapel pin (0985.3.134) and another medal (0985.3.135).

The lapel pin is a double-sided lapel button. The front is enameled in green and white with the following inscription, "AZTEC CLUB 1847." The back is unadorned and has no marks. The lapel pin is associated with two medals (0985.3.133 and 0985.3.135).

The medal is a bronze medallion pendant suspended from a green and white striped ribbon. "Aztec Club / Mexico / October A.D. 1847" is inscribed on the front. "October 13, 1847 / October 13, 1897 with Aztec temple" is inscribed on the back. "Gen. George Washington Rains" is inscribed on the side. This medal is associated with another medal (0985.3.133) and a lapel pin (0985.3.134).

Light Artillery Saber: single-edged curved blade with single broad fuller, stamped "U.S. / SK / 1847" and "Cabotville"; brass hilt formed from knuckle bow terminating in disc quillon, flared pommel; wood grip covered with leather and wound with twisted brass wire. Metal scabbard (.160a) with two suspension rings and drag.

A label adhered on the right side (where the missing handle would be located) is inscribed in black ink: "Gen'l R. E. Lee's / Camp Chest / presented donated to / the Confederate Museum / by / Capt. Raymond Fairfax / Co. I, 17th VA Reg. / Alexandria Va."

German officers light cavalry saber: single edged curve blade with one broad fuller, remains of bluing engraved with flower sprays and military trophies, decorations gilded, "A.& F.C. Schimmelbusch" on obverse, "a Solingen" on reverse; steel hilt, two branches and knuckle bow, flowing into stylized birds head pommel with backstrap; langets project forward over blade and onto grip. quillon terminates in disk. Metal scabbard (.728a) with two suspension rings and large drag.
