Navy Officer's Sword: slightly curved single-edged blade etched with Confederate Second National pattern flag, crossed cannon, and fouled anchor; gilded brass hilt cast with cotton and tobacco plant sprays, fouled anchor and crossed cannons, engraved, "J.M. Morgan" inside knuckle bow.; dolphin head pommel and scaled backstrap, shagreen grip wrapped with twisted brass wire. Leather scabbard (.74b) with brass mounts. A brass disk attached to hilt inscribed, "When Richmond fell this Confederate Naval sword was worn by Midshipman Morgan who accompanied Mrs. Jefferson Davis to the South. The sword was also worn on the cruise of the CSS Georgia and in the "Naval Batteries" on the

Case: for Colt 1855 Side Hammer Pocket Revolver, Model 2 (a); .28 caliber, 5-shot, 3.5" barrel, walnut grip; #22987. Case contains bullet mold (c). Case: wooden rectangular shaped case with hinged lid. Front has a lock surrounded by a dark wood inlay. Lid exterior has an inscribed circle in center; probable decoration. Interior has balsa wood dividers covered in dark brown velvet. Lid interior is padded and covered in same dark brown velvet.

Bullet mold: with Colt 1855 Side Hammer Pocket Revolver, Model 2 (a) with case (b); .28 caliber, 5-shot, 3.5" barrel, walnut grip; #22987. Mold bullet: Made of iron with a rectangular main body with rounded top. A screw connects the two sides and allows for the two halves to be pulled apart on a pivot, thus opening the mold cavity and giving access to the bullets. Two handles extend from the body with a slight curve. The body has two Cavity molds- one for round and one for conical balls. The top of the sprue cutter is marked "COLT'S PATENT".

Ten-sided bowl decorated with transfer scenes of Turkish views executed in brown, purple, green, and yellow. "Holland, Green and late Harvey" on back of bowl. Ailanthus china pattern.

The teaspoon is made of silver in the fiddle thread pattern. Old English "D" is engraved on the handle, which has a raised scalloped edge. This silver teaspoon matches the one in (0985.7.162). The maker's stamp is on the spoon, "R. Keyworth / 1831."

The teaspoon or toddy spoon is made of silver, heavily worn. Old English letter "D" is engraved into the handle, and remnants of a scallop finish are visible on the edge. The spoon has a fiddle thread pattern. This teaspoon matches the one in (0985.7.160).
