RAZOR -

The straight razor blade is attached to a tortoise shell handle. The steel blade is marked "Joseph Hodd Cutlerstoth No. 6 North." The handle shows evidence of cracking. A small whetstone (.51b) comes with the razor.

A small whetstone, dark brown in color and rectangular in shape. On one long flat side is etched a cross shape; on the other long flat side is etched a crosshatch design with two vertical lines running through it. Accompanies razor (.51a).
