A comb (.271b) consists of eight buttons: one Confederate General Staff (small), four Virginia State General Staff (small), one US Navy (small), one Maryland State General Staff (small), and one US Regular General Staff (small). Part of a jewelry set (necklace, hair comb, two bracelets, two earrings, and two cuff links) made from buttons off Confederate Army and Navy officer uniforms. The buttons are brass, two-piece and the larger size (0.875"), except where noted small (0.5").
