Report: "Report of the Relic Committee of the H.M.A." January 19, 1895 Report notes a delay in opening the Jefferson Davis Mansion. Lists the following donations: A plaster cast of Jefferson Davis and "a wreath of evergreen leaves with the stars & bars" from Col. Bill [Bigger?]; a plaster bust of the Statue of the Soldiers and Sailors monument; the library mantle formally in the mansion donated by the Lee Camp Soldiers' Home; "a very handsome quilt, made for Pres. Davis & much prized by him" from Mrs. Davis. Report records the death of Mrs. C.C. Baughman. Report observes that because a relic committee has been formed by the C.M.L.S. the relic committee of the Hollywood Memorial Association

The cup and saucer (.1b) are Danish porcelain with white gold trim and hand painted lilies of the valley in a circular pattern. The bottom of the cup has a brown color circular stamp with "Denmark" and a crown enclosed plus three wavy blue lines.

The saucer has an affixed adhesive label with the number "303" and "Fla" on its bottom

Gold octagonal locket with a crystal center. A lock of white hair on a piece of red cloth (flag fragment) is enclosed inside the locket. The locket is stored in a round purple velvet box (a) with a hand written label on top. The label reads, "Hair of Jefferson Davis - presented to his daughter."

The ball is a small wooden decorative sphere of either maple of oak. Line engravings of Glasgow, Scotland scenes are sealed under a varnish finish; on one side are the "University of Glasgow" and "Broomielaw Bridge"; on the other are the "Cathedral Glasgow" and "George Square Glasgow". It rests on three feet, and has three holes drilled into the top.

The toy miniatures are an assortment of painted miniature white ware: White dish with fluted sides and one side turned upward at a ninety-degree angle, giving the impression of a shell. Along the edges is painted with gold with lines extending downward in the flutes and most of the ridges. Inside the dish are two green frogs; one is sitting upright with his right leg extended with a black boot on its right foot and onother black boot is under the leg. The other frog is facing the first and is hunched over and has its hands on the other frog's black boot in what appears to be mid-action of removing the boot from the frog's foot.
