Scope & Content Painting - picture of a black casket with flowers on top and draped with an Army of Northern Virginia pattern flag. Three old men are standing at the foot of the casket with another two near the head. A solitary man is in the center foreground appearing to be walking away from the casket. All the men have gray hair and beards, holding hats in their hands, and wearing gray suits. The solitary man and the three at the casket's foot are also wearing capes. In the lower right corner is handwritten "Margaret Dashiell / Farewell - November 25 1922 / The Chapel Soldiers Home / Richmond, Virginia". On back is written in pencil "11 x 12"; "763" in a circle; "1" in a circle; and "1/2"blk".
