Letter from John S. Mosby to Dr. Aristides Monteiro, June 7, 1890
Physical Appearance: In this autographed letter signed, dated June 7, 1890 at the Hotel Langham, "Cor. Mason and Ellis Sts." in San Francisco, Mosby still has the Lee Monument ceremony on his mind and writes Dr. Aristides Monteiro, urging for construction of a statue of Stuart. He states that he will give $100 toward it. 1 pp. Marks: "No. 27" but crossed out to read "No. 10.;" no year is originally written but penciled in as 1890."
