Johnson - With the disbandment of the regiment, the soldiers present the regimental flag to her. 1 page, top half. {Signed}: "Albert Tolson" Sergeant, Co. C "Richard L. Brown" Sergeant, Co. C "Geo. Tyler" Sergeant, Co. A "Geo. W. Wentworth" Sergeant, Co. B "F. Farr" Sergeant, Co. F "W. Joseph Wranch" Sergeant, Co. G "Calvin Myers" Sergeant, Co. E "Chas. N. Fercoit" Sergeant, Co. G "Edwin Selvage" Color Bearer. b) [n. d.] - Typed response of Mrs. Bradley T. Johnson's [Jane Claudia Saunders Johnson] response to Edwin Selvage, Color Bearer - Acknowledges receipt of letter and flag and states the flag will be "sacredly guarded." Avows that "no member of the First Maryland Regiment will ever want a friend while I live." {Signed} Mrs. Bradley T. Saunders. 1 page, bottom half. Notes written in pencil in bottom margin: "Above refers to Bucktail Flag (or Annapolis)? / See memorial to Mrs. Johnson."
