Physical Appearance: Typescript of postwar interview with Thomas Jefferson Capps, the ambulance driver who carried Lieutenant General Thomas J. Jackson off the field after he was wounded on May 2, 1863. Capps was a private in Company E, 3rd North Carolina State Troops. 7 pp. Pages are brittle, and page 1 is very dark. There is a color photocopy for easier reading in the folder.
