Physical Appearance: February 4, 1863 - Letter from Thomas Jonathan Jackson at Head Quarters 2nd Corps, Army of Northern Virginia, to General Samuel Cooper, Adjutant & Inspector General, C. S. A., [Richmond, Virginia] - Recommends Colonel Bradley T. Johnson for promotion to Brigadier General and be placed in command of William B. Taliaferro's Brigade. Signed, "T. J. Jackson" Lieutenant General. 2 pp. A number label "70" is attached to page 1. Stamps: 2nd page, rectuangular red ink > "Record & Pension Office / 1900 / War Department / May 2 / 603162." Marks: 2nd page, "No. 4" - "7" - "No. 10." A photocopy is available in the CML Jackson Box.
