Physical Appearance: October 16, 1862 - H[ea]d Q[uarte]rs, V[alley] D[istrict], Bunker Hill, [Virginia], General Orders, No. 110} Appoints Surg[eon] J. A. Strath of 2nd V[irgini]a Infantry, and Ass[istan]t Surg[eon] J. H. Jones, of 27th V[irgini]a Infantry, to a medical board "to pass on all applications for discharge or leave of absence due to physical disability." Directs this board to meet daily, beginning the next day, at James A. Gageby's home. By command of Maj[or] Gen[era]l [Thomas Jonathan] Jackson. Signed, "E. F.
