|Archival History||Alexander Swift "Sandy" Pendleton served as Lt. and Ordnance Officer to Jackson on April 29, 1861. He then served as Lt. and Aide-de-Camp for Jackson on November 4, 1861. Pendleton served as Capt. and Assistant Adjutant General for Jackson on June 18, 1862. He was promoted to Maj. and served as AAG for Jackson on December 4, 1862.|
