|Archival History||Formerly located in the MC 3 H-481b files. The Henry Heth Collection contains all the known correspondence and ephemera of Henry Heth (1825-1899), held in the Eleanor S. Brockenbrough Library. Holdings include Heth's 1861 commission and his 1862 and 1863 appointments. Wartime materials focus on reports for 1863-1864, including ones on Gettysburg, Falling Waters, Bristoe, and Burgess Mill; telegrams for May - September 1864. Heth's Appomattox parole and his 1868 pardon signed by President Andrew Johnson are also of interest.|
