Autographs of Prisoners confined at Fort Delaware in the year 1865.
Autograph book consists of a book with brown leather covered boards and sewn binding. Pages are unnumbered and may be pre-printed in a ledger format. There are typically 3-4 autographs per page and usually includes name, regiment, city, and state. Autographs are written in black ink, except for the last few entries which are in pencil.
Possibly owned by Agnes Lake, since it was found in her trunk.
Raye Ryan's parents bought the land of Lake View Farm and in one of the tenant houses, Raye found a trunk during the summer of 1964. In the trunk was a laptop desk with the autograph book inside. Raye's mother later gave it to Robert, Raye's husband.
