Physical Appearance: February 15, 1862 - Col[onel] George T. Anderson at Headquarters, near Centreville, Virginia, to Brig[adier] Gen[era]l Sam[uel] Jones - Anderson, of the 11th Georgia Infantry, brings his former commander up-to-date in this three-page letter. He states that the troops remain in a "state of glorious uncertainty" as to a fight, but furloughs have been cancelled. Anderson observes that Gen[era]l Rob[er]t Toombs thinks Anderson's chances for promotion look good.
