Physical Appearance: Autographed letter signed by John S. Mosby to Dr. Aristides Monteiro, in Alexandria, VA, dated May 5, 1894. Mosby sends along $1.75 to pay Tom Booker for shipping bust. Asks Dr. Monteiro to convey his thanks to everyone in Richmond for their kindnesses during his recent visit, "was completely broken down" from Richmond to Alexandria. Wants Mosby to get Belford Magazine from Joy Bryan and let Major Ginter (?) read Gettysburg article. He refers to his article on Gettysburg in "Belford's Magazine," unhappy with the editors crediting him as "Col. Mosby." (See "Letters of J. S.
