Faulkner, Chairman, Military Committee, House of Representatives - Concerns bounty of $142 paid to soldiers re-enlisting, who have already served five years and how to be paid. Signed, "S. |Archival History||Charles James Faulkner served as Volunteer Aide-de-Camp to Jackson from December 28, 1861 into January 1862. He then served as Lt. Col. and Assistant Adjutant General to Jackson on November 15, 1862. After serving same to Gen. Ewell, Faulkner resigned on July 23, 1863.|
