Muller, in Cleveland, Ohio.The reminiscences are postwar recollections of Col. John S. Mosby, ca. 1906, written in 1940 by Curt Muller. Muller recounts living adjacent to Mosby for a year in Washington, D. C. during which Mosby befriended him and gave him autographed books from his personal library. (The books remain in the Payne Collection.) Marks: "M-645 Metal Case 3" in upper left corner, "Cleveland, Ohio" in pen under title, "Presented 1943" on second page."
