Physical Appearance: The letter (autographed, signed) is a photocopy of the original to his wife Flora, dated February 8, 1864. Stuart tells her of a cavalry engagement near Morton's Ford, Virginia, as well as his fondess for "society and the ladies." He also includes his opinion on the will and ability of the army.
