Includes typed transcript of article, "Honors for a Dead Hero. Remains of Granbury, Who was killed at Franklin, Reburied. He was Gen. Cleburne's Chief Lieutenant, and Together They Died - Something of His History" - from "The Commercial Appeal," Memphis, Tennessee, December 3, 1893. The transcript is inserted into an application for Brigadier General Hiram Brinson Granbury to the Confederate Roll of Honour. Gives biographical information as well. Marks: "Mr. Granbury's Record is to be found in Vol. 82. / Metal Case 3 G 37."
