Letter from Richard B. Garnett to Hon. R. M. T. Hunter, April 1862
Physical Appearance: April [-], 1862 - R[ichard] B[rooke] Garnett at Harrisonburg, V[irgini]a, to "My dear Sir" [Hon. R. M. T. Hunter, Richmond, Virginia] - Acknowledges receipt of his letter dated April 10 and thanks him for an offer of assistance. Encloses a copy of his report on Kernstown and the charges & specification made by Jackson against him. Responds to Hunter's questions regarding the charges. In a postscript, requests Hunter to obtain a copy of Jackson's written complaint against him sent to the War Department. Signed "R. B. Garnett" 4 pp on 1 sheet. Marks: "G-385 D" at top of page . A photocopy of the letter.
