Physical Appearance: January 21, 1862 - T[homas] J[onathan] Jackson at Romney, [Virginia], to Major [John Alexander Harman] - Acknowledges receipt of Harman's letter dated January 19th and is gratified to hear of his improving health. Warns him not to return to his post too soon. Advises that Harman's brother, [Lieutenant] Col[onel] M[ichael] G[arber] Harman "has proved himself equal to the emergency." Signed, "T. J.
